Volunteering and caregiving often involve simple acts of kindness that can have a lasting impact. Whether it's spending time with someone who feels isolated, helping with daily tasks, offering a listening ear, or supporting families during challenging times, these small efforts can bring comfort and hope.

I've found that caregivers and volunteers also need encouragement. Taking time to rest, sharing experiences with others, and asking for support when needed helps prevent burnout and allows us to continue caring for others with compassion. Strong communities are built when volunteers and caregivers support one another as well as those they serve.
